Somebody's getting ready to NAP

It's a dreary day and I feel my lids getting heavy.

I slept late, so if I were to take a nap at this point, it would be the ultimate in decadence.

Tempting though. I just got me a nifty new memory-foam mattress topper. Mmmmmm.

Or I could just make myself a pot of mocha-flavored coffee. That's decadent, too.

My sister's twins who just turned a year still don't sleep thru the night, and the boy isnt very cooperative about naps. Having been blessed with good sleepers I don't know what to tell her - I'm just glad I'm done with all that personally...

All last week I had lovely napskis.
I think it was because the heating came on at 15.00. Made me all dozy. So I went to lay down in the spare room (only room with the radiator switched off, because it was where I was staying).

I can only assume the drop in temperature from hot to cool exacerbated my sleepiness (the body naturally cools down as it prepares for sleep) because I had a good 40 mins sleep every day. And right up until the last two nights I was still able to sleep well later.

Less than 3 hours sleep last night.
In the end I decided to go out at 04.45 this morning to see if my final payment had gone through. Nope - 0.31 in my account. I was gutted. Didn't even try to sleep again til after 06.00. Went to the cashpoint with Dads at 09.30 - yup, it was in there. So much for my knowledge of the banking system! My previous payments always went in at 00.00 or 02.00. Good job I went to check it before firing off a snotty email! I say good job - actually being a pedant I was always going to double check before I started a ruckus.
