Talking Yippee!!!!

My college is gradually posting grades from fall quarter - Bri, you get yours yet?

The one I was really worried about was just posted and...

it's an A!

Yippeeeeee!

Posted an A in another class too...but that was expected.

I'm almost totally sure the other two are going to be A's (well the prof told me, in one case, and I'd have had to completely screw up my poetry essay and final exam to get less than an A in the other.

So that means a third quarter with straight A's and a 4.0!

My parents would be so proud.

Congrats!

How did you get your grades? When I go to the site they don't even have FALL 2008 listed. The latest grades I can get are from Spring 2008. ???

God, if you get any happier I am going to vomit. Can't you have a little respect for us old and bitter, scabs? *a rising in throat*

No srsly, congratulations on your hard won success! I'm considering taking a couple of courses after a long period of non-schoolness. The last time the A's, and being teacher's pet, was not well received. I need to get over myself and bite the bullet. Thanks for the inspiration.

Bri, it's listed on wings express...check again. Maybe your profs just haven't posted the grades yet.

Congrats on the grades, and the 4.0 average. woo hoo!

I miss college... being on campus just feels different. I walk onto a campus, and I immediately feel smarter. Which helps when you're dumb as a rock.

So Juniper, what are you studying?

I doubt you're dumb as a rock, sugar. You came here, after all! That should immediately raise your IQ a few points. Bonus for hanging out with Merc.

I'm working on a degree in English.

Cool. English is good. I wish I had stayed in college, but I just didn't have the focus back then.

And no, I'm not really dumb as a rock. I just pretend to be sometimes.

I didn't have the focus back then either.

That is why I am BACK. At 40. Never too late, right?

Many congrats Juni. Damn we have some smart ladies here.
