I think I still have my original Beatles 'Abbey Road` LP somewhere. A bit the worse for playing so often back in the mid to late 60's. Those were the days, seeing Moody Blues with original lead singer Dennie Laine (who later joined McCartney's Wings) playing in Balham, South London, and then The Who over in Chiswick. Then there was Eric Burden and The Animals and Georgie Fame and the Blue Flames - those are the ones I remember most, but plenty of others - groups and solo artists - around at that time

That had to be quite a scene CF! I wonder when we'll ever see that sort of momentous musical shift again?
