11/3/2002: Horses with bad legs
 Oh man. Breeder's Cup racer Landseer threw his jockey, ran loose, broke his leg and had to be destroyed.  But why couldn't it be fixed? Here's a horse named Barnaby, whose leg was amputated after it developed a muscular disease. A prosthetics maker fitted him with an artificial leg and now he enjoys an easy life. |
