What a pain in the...!
Monday, I transported two giganto planters in my truck back home from the store. The suckers must have weighed 75 pounds each. Well, I refuse to be a helpless senior (almost) type gal, so I lugged those pots up my walk and lifted them up my front step all by myself. Yea, me! Super woman!
The next day the lower left side of my back started to hurt, but I'm tough and figured it would go away. Well, the pain hasn't. In fact, it's gotten worse every day. I've reached the point where tears come to my eyes from the pain of just bending over to pick something up, and I can barely walk. Now, although this sounds like a rant, it's not really. I can't get in to see my doctor until tomorrow, and I'm wondering if any of you resourceful Dwellers have some home remedies I can try meantime. I took a bunch of aspirin and put an ice pack on my back. But would heat work better? Has anyone tried one of those OTC remedies like tiger balm or arnica for similar type pain? Does any of that stuff work? All suggestions would be greatly appreciated. ![]() |
