Calling all Camelot fans!

Ok, don't know how many (if any) of you guys have watched Camelot, on Starz in the US, and Channel4 in the UK (not sure what channel it ran on in Oz), but I did and I bloody loved it :p

It was cheesier than a fully stocked cheeseboard at times, but had a joie de vivre that I really appreciated. It was a co-production of GK-TV, Starz and I think another couple of companies.

Anyways, last week, Starz announced that they would not be taking up their option of a second season for 2011. Now, there's a chance that another cable/network will step in, but as it stands they're the ones that could make it happen. Their announcement suggested that a combination of factors stood against the show returning: production issues and cost, casting difficulties with some of the leads having line dup other projects and nolonger being available. The fact that they stated that they wouldn't opt in for a second season for 2011, suggests theymaybe leaving the door open for the future, maybe in 2012.

Anyways. Some people atthe Starz forums have set up a petition to 'save camelot' :p Silly I know, but what the hell, it might keep the idea floating around the ether til such time as casting and production issues are less of a problem:
