not sure its a quality image, since it was taken with a shitty digital camera, but here goes. i went to the denver zoo today, and got a neat picture of a hippos gaping maw.

he was, it appears, getting a drink of water. but he sat under that faucet for at least five minutes.

yeah, for being kept in a zoo, he seemed to have wretched teeth. but it also looked like new ones were growing in. those could also have been teeth that were worn down to stubs though.
