Arran in the Summertime?

As I've said in the Happy thread, I should be gainfully employed as of 22 July; at least I'll start some training then.
Store opens 8 August.

In the mean time I would really like to go see Limey.
In the mean time (deliberate repetition) I should be able to claim benefits, and Mum has agreed I need not pay any bills & maintenance.

I can't push it too far though, I am still expected to buy my own food & toiletries and look after Diz's needs. Which is entirely reasonable.

But given that I have nearly a month to play with - excepting hospital appointments - I'd like to take a trip back to Arran. I've never seen it in Summer.
I also want to go back to Claudette's circle (the one that's stood for many years, not the temporary one we made) and renew it. But Limey can do that for the Cellar, it's not supposed to be a guilt-trip.

I'm asking if anyone in the Cellar would like to contribute to the fare. I want to go for weeks and weeks, but my appointments suggest this won't be possible. If it comes down to only going for 3-4 days I can't really justify the cost, even though it's a great environment for me.

Limey & Dana have been very, very good to me recently.
I have no real justification to ask other people to do the same.
But I thought if I put it out there then even a little $ might add up and help.
Please don't take anything away from what you would normally give UT. This is less important in the long run. And I do not own a bikini. Can't say if Tony does...

I promise:
No money spent on alcohol. And that is bloody hard, but fingers crossed I'll have medication by then.
Proper photo-documentation and words.
Walking and exercise and history shared.
A Cellar singalong. Well, that relies on Limey's goodwill, but we haven't had one for a while. In fact I think that was only LJ and me anyway.

Requests considered. Even the dirty ones. Well, considered doesn't mean accepted, right?
Any money at all goes on the fare and in the unlikely event there would be anything over I would spend it on ingredients for proper slow cooked meals and recipes. Cakies and pork and lentils and shit. Well, not literally shit.

Bottom line is you do or you don't. I love you all the same.
