What's in your salad today?

green leaf lettuce
cherry tomatoes
celery
chicken
pecans
mayo

it's a little weird but it's what was in the fridge/cupboard

If I was putting together a salad from what I had in the flat it would comprise of dry cereal.

My ideal salad would be:
Egg, hard-boiled but barely, grated carrot, red onion, sweetcorn, mixed leaves, red peppers.
No dressing needed, but balsamic if I overlooked the egg.

Do you know how hard it is to buy that unless you live in a city?
Has to be home-made.
Do you know how hard it is to buy small enough portions to make that at home without them going off? Have to live a city. Sigh.

(that's my excuse for going off topic anyway)

pizza...salad tastes best topped with pizza. But there weren't any salad in the fridge today, so I only had pizza for lunch.

Chard, kale, slivered carrots, garbanzos.
Tomato. Sliced garlic-stuffed olives. Roasted brussels sprouts.
Topped with a spritz of EVOO, or with nothing.
