Every Second Counts!

Ever wonder what the rest of the world may be thinking of us these days? Well the suspense is finally over! Late night comedy shows all over Europe are racing to get on the newly created Every Second Counts website – a place where European comedians attempt to convince Trump that their country deserves second place, at the very least. Dutch late night comedy got the entire thing going with “The Netherlands Second,” a parody of Trump’s speech insisting “America is going to be first.” Last night I came across the clip “Switzerland Second” and thought that it was a bit of humor that the Swiss had come up with on their own. This evening I noticed “Every Second Counts” stuff from other countries and on several different websites. This wave of European laughter seems to be getting louder every evening and just might end up going viral – some of it, anyhow. So far, Germany has the funniest one out there – the Germans can be brutal, man - but the Swiss and the Dutch versions aren’t too shabby either.
