The Radar Referendum

Okay folks...Mr. Ireland thinks he could do well in an election where only Dwellars voted.

So, look at all of Radar's posts. As much of an asshole as he can be, judge the posts only for their political content. Then decide if he would be worth your vote in an election.

Voting will end around 9:30pm ET tomorrow.

How could he be worse than what we've got for local officials? Not for any major office just yet though.

I'd have to say that from reading his posts, and for all the wind generated, he'd get the damn job done. He would do something other than run around with his dick in one hand and his walllet in the other.

so my analysis is:

Radar is to governance as Ed Bagley Jr. is to oil spill

Yes. He gets my vote.

I voted 'yes' just to fuck with syc. I tend to avoid the overly long political threads; attentive readers may note that I'll post if I catch them before they pass a page or two, but just ignore them after that.

If we're just looking at the political issues, there are a lot of pages where radar and I are right on the same one ...

It's his delivery.

Think of it this way ... Radar right now is the 1960 presidential election Nixon. He needs the image makeover that the 1968 Nixon got. Of course, he'd probably end like the 1972 Nixon, but such is the way of politics.

Like I said on the other thread, I'd vote for him. I hate smooth smarmy politicians without principles. "Radar the anti-Clinton."

The Supreme Court has yet to weigh in on the many votes cast between 2am and 3am.

I voted yes basically for the same reasons Griff did. His delivery is off sometimes, but at least he's got principles.

Hehe. I used the democrat "get out the vote" tactic!

Looks like there's a recount in the works dude.

Slang, you're a tard.

Taking his personality out of it, I still couldn't vote for Radar...our views clash.

So, he won here based on his views. Just one problem...that doesn't win elections very often in this country anymore. UT and I discussed this this afternoon--Kennedy, Reagan, Clinton...image and personality went a long way in getting them elected (and re-elected in the case of the latter two).

Though there's hope for Radar...Gray Davis had the personality of a warm cup of decaf, and won 2 gubernatorial elections out there.

Sure yer panty wearin liberals like the slimey bastard Kenerayguintons. But we are heading into the post tv age. Folks are getting more and more cynical and the gladhanders are eventually going to pay the price at the polls.
