Camera Phones in the News

Camera phones usually get a bad rap, but they can be used for good.

I was a little surprised to find my old high school principal made the headlines -- I never thought I would hear about him again, especially not in this way.

They'd be useful in Iraq. I read a suggestion that when our troops are in crowded civilian situations and take on fire, they should shoot back with cameras. Snipers or Iraqi cops can take care of business later with no "collateral damage."

No cell phones or sunglasses on the desk in classrooms now. People were photographing the tests and selling them.
