At least only the leaves on the tulips will be brown and crusty...I don't see any buds, yet.

I took this last April. Plant and flowers did fine with no after effects.

Assuming I don't get distracted by a shiny object, I will try to remember to take pics later in the tulips' development.

You know, you can purchase firearms in a more matte finish, or even black. They don't *all* have to be chromed.

In my case that would be "they don't all have to be black ..."

Hmmm...doesn't look like ya'll are that far ahead of us up here in KC, Spring-wise. We've got the bulb flowers blooming, flowering trees popping off, and grass greening up as well.

I was in Hot Springs about two years ago around the end of February, and it was already Spring there...probably three weeks ahead of the situation here at home. It was cool.

This is the 30 days that make the Shannenoda Valley (which I can never spell right) so pretty. I-route 81 is suppose to be a perfect example of spring.

Ah, lovely iris!
Finally Here in the frozen north, I have green, pointy noses poking up and some tiny blooming snow drops. Still down in the 20s at night. My tulips are usually rabbit food before they can bloom. I do have pink buds on my hepatica, a wierd woodland flower - always among the first to bloom even before the leaves green up. I may try to get some pics, but I suck.

You may want to see a Dr. about that. ;-)

I'm in Warch's neck of the woods, and we have a chance for snow this weekend.
