Nothing says quality like a little blood

OK, I'm freakin bored tonight, wife went to bed early & pissed. I have a little teeny cut on my nose and am bleeding like a stuck pig.

Anybody else a bleeder? Or particularily squeamish about it? I rarely finish a good project without sheddding a little blood, kind of like having a party where the cops DON'T show up.

Anyhoo, here's blue in action:

Anybody else a bleeder?

I get nosebleeds all the damn time. During the winter I'll sometimes get one every day for weeks on end. And when I do, they gush for a good half hour, they always take forever to clot.

I tried to split my finger open longways Friday afternoon. I was *trying* to pull the panel on my car door that houses the switches for the power windows because one of the switches failed and I wanted to see if I could bypass it and what exactly was broken. My car is a '91 so the plastic is sort of brittle. I'm pulling on this panel like it's a tugrope and it splits and my hand goes flying back slinging blood. Luckily a new stain is not an issue.

The bitch of it is is that it was in the one spot I hate cuts to be. Correction, the second worst spot for cuts to be, but I digress. Anyhow, my dominant hand index finger is split from the joint closest to the end all of the way to the end down the length of the pad. I'm standing there watching blood leak out of me thinking to myself, "This is really going to hurt in about ten seconds, I better put pressure on it before I start the 'OW GODDAMMIT!' dance."

Damnit LJ, if you keep pursuing this I will be forced to take a picture of MY actual hairy ass...then you'll be sorry.

UT, ;-), I was wondering about the thumb myself

If you look closely just above the icky skin part, you can see the dark area..that's how deep it was...things didn't get bad 'til I flexed my hand....then I had to put the camera down.

I'm pretty proud of the fact that I never let go of the part I was attaching after the cut 'til I had it fastened. I did call it quits for the day after I bandaged myself up tho.

Is there a red-nosed American pitbull terrier attached to those paws?

Yep, can't get anything done without a blood sacrifice. With most projects, it's just a knuckle or similar.
