Dungeons and Dragons: Stormreach
I just got an invitation to join the preview for Dungeons and Dragons: Stormreach. I haven't done a preview since Guild Wars, and I'm dreading actually liking it and having to shell out $10-15 a month.
Fortunately, I haven't found one yet that was worth it.

WoW sucks. Don't bother.
You can spend 1 day (24 hours) per week and in 6 weeks be at end game. Raiding dungeons more than once is boring and pvp agains people who play 12 hours per day is depressing. If you've played other MMO's to much degree the thinly veiled grind mechanisms are insulting...If you're playing for the social aspect it can be fun but I'd rather socialize in person. Social factors in these games hasn't been an issue for me since pre-UO:R Ultima Online (and yes, I'm still bitter about that). 60 Shaman 60 Priest + middling alts |
