I don't understand why that rule exits, but then there's a lot about football I don't know.

Maybe you can trade him away?

What a weird rule! Oh well, I ended up dropping someone else.

here is the list

and the rules:
Quote:

Undroppable Players
To maintain the integrity of your league, you will be prevented from dropping certain star NFL players throughout the season. NFL.com, as commissioner of all NFL.com Fantasy 2008 leagues, will decide - in its sole discretion - which NFL players are undroppable. If there are players we've deemed undroppable on your roster, they will not be displayed on the Add/Drop page for your team. You may appeal to NFL.com for permission to drop an undroppable player; however, NFL.com will make the final decision on all undroppable player requests. Appeals can be sent via the Help Center page and should include the names of the players you want to add and drop.

lumberjim 10-28-2008 09:47 PM

jinx has 5 guys on that undroppable list...i have 2. how about you?

Clodfobble 10-28-2008 11:25 PM

"To maintain the integrity of the league"... Is that like, you and your friend both join the same league, and then he drops all his good players just so you can pick them up and have a ridiculously stellar team?

classicman 10-29-2008 10:22 AM

that's what I got out of it Clod.

LabRat 11-02-2008 12:19 PM

WTF. I was busily working on fixing up my teams when a fwe players locked because their games started. I got stuck with 2 active TE's and have an illegal team. I thought we had till 5 min before kickoff before they locked?? My clock says 12:18. The games weren't supposed to start till 1:00.

Enjoy your freebie, Goats.

Guess I'll go back to raking leaves.

jinx 11-02-2008 06:11 PM

:mecry:Another injured QB...

bluecuracao 11-02-2008 06:20 PM

You're crying for me, right jinx? Awwww. ;)

LabRat 11-02-2008 07:26 PM

My clocks were right, it was my head that was fooked.

lumberjim 11-06-2008 12:50 PM

there is a Thursday night game on tonight.....Broncos v Browns. make sure you don't forget to adjust your lineups accordingly.

the game can be seen online at NFL dot Com or the nfl network.

lumberjim 11-06-2008 10:24 PM

fuh huck. 36 points from one guy? that's hardly an example of good sportsmanship, sycamore. I hope you're happy.

elSicomoro 11-07-2008 10:18 AM

"This is what you get when you mess with us..."

bluecuracao 11-07-2008 10:44 AM

That guy is my QB in my league at work. Woo hoo!

W.HI.P 11-09-2008 04:47 PM

dirty hippies, now only 1 game seperates us.
its early to say, but it seems like you've lost, and i can't lose as it stands.

Hey man, don't jinx me. I'm trying to win over here, and she's ahead by 10.

its already over.
hippies go 100 with the eagles defence.
you're at 78 with westbrook 20, fitzgerald 12, carney 7 = 117.
at worst a win here, you can't lose.

jinx 11-09-2008 06:55 PM

Your shit-talking would carry so much more weight, WHIP, if you ever owned up to being wrong.

And you're still losing to a girl.

Undertoad 11-10-2008 01:32 PM

You're all on notice, after tonight I will have the highest score on the week. The season begins now. Or something.

LJ, I knew you'd regret picking up Shockey. That dickwad is useless. I had him most of last year when he did nothing. The brain-dead "guru" loves him for some reason.

lumberjim 11-10-2008 01:38 PM

the fucking guru gets us every week. i think whip is a guru.
actually, i just need to fill in Witten's bye week.....he's going to be walking the plank on Wednesday morning.

i told you you'd be good.
turner and lt are big mofo's at the rb position.

shockey is a leader and has some of the best hands in the league.
his agressive mentality has caused him injuries.
he's played through them during his career making him almost crippled.
you need some d ut if you're gonna catch up to the suprising dirty hippies and myself

Fixed that for you.

Undertoad 11-11-2008 12:11 PM

Dirty Hippies came back strong and it turned into the best game of the week, which I won 117-110.

Hippies live and die with Romo, and just like the Cowboys, she has shitty backup QBs. :D

It's like last year, I probably can't catch up even if I run the table, but I've moved to #7 in the power rankings which is kinda cool.

lumberjim 11-11-2008 12:49 PM

actually, she has Orton as a back up, who would normally be fine, but he hurt his sissy little ankle last week, and rex got the start this week.

Undertoad 11-11-2008 01:10 PM

WTF with my attention span?

Couldn't you have waited one more week to stop sucking? Let the whining continue. Actually I'm in pretty good shape in my division. I have a losing record and I'm still only one game out of first. Maybe life IS fair after all.

Dude I kicked your ass off when we played, 132-71. Fear me in week 13. That's right, I said fear me.

lumberjim 11-12-2008 07:52 PM

there's another Thursday game this week....get your acts together, people.

I want it noted that I am projected to score 133 points this week. anyone want to take 'the over' in a side bet?

lumberjim 11-13-2008 11:04 PM

yar.....just a little FYI here....

Clobble scored 42 points with one guy (Cassell) this week. And he's a back up. Good move signing him, btw.

in week 8, the sysadmins scored 46 total points
in week 5 clodfobble scored 29 altogether, and
in week 4, labrat totalled 28 points

and matt cassell is not a weird name. at all.

Clodfobble 11-14-2008 12:30 PM

I set up my draft based on weird names. I can't help it if some of you fuckers took them first.

lumberjim 11-16-2008 04:55 PM

doesn't look good for you this week whip.......in fact....is that the fat lady warming up i hear?

Griff 11-16-2008 06:35 PM

Nice Smack!

Syc is so lucky the league tried to screw PBurg this week. He will still go down.

zippyt 11-16-2008 09:24 PM

Im getten Beat up !!

Griff 11-17-2008 04:52 AM

Me too!:(

jinx 11-17-2008 09:42 AM

Me too.
I hate Jim for winning. I'm only letting him live because Whip lost too.

Undertoad 11-17-2008 09:44 AM

Doesn't look good for me ending in the top half of the power rankings, which became my goal at some point

bluecuracao 11-17-2008 07:52 PM

I think WHIP let me win, for the 2nd year in a row.

honestly, if there was one person that i'd be happy to lose to, its you.
if i had won, you would be finished for this season.
i've got my main opponent coming up next week, so thats what i'm interested in.
did i let you win this year? ...not exactly, but i didn't do some moves that i coulda to up my points.
i am cheering for you though.

lumberjim 11-17-2008 11:53 PM

now....our whole division is up in the air. after this week, we'll all be 4-7 except zippy who'll be 5-6.

even if she had lost, she would only be 2 games out, and plays the equally inconsistent bullies next week. if zippy loses, there will be 3 5-7 teams and one 4-6. that team will probably be donebut not mathematically. i'd like to stay alive as long as possible.....so i'm interested in it.

Undertoad 11-18-2008 07:25 AM

Woo, a one-point win for 3 Ws in a row.

glatt 11-18-2008 08:06 AM

I barely squeaked past zippyt. I had a big lead over him going into last night's game, (63 to 38) but I was done. I had no-one playing last night. His sole Monday night player had his second best game of the season and brought the score up to 63 - 60. I almost wish he had won, because that would have been beautiful.

(It's also beautiful that I'm in a 3 way tie for 1st place.)

LabRat 11-18-2008 08:24 AM

Well, I guess I don't have to check now. Congrats Toad. I'm afraid to see who I'm up against this week.

lumberjim 11-23-2008 12:02 PM

I just second guessed myself about starting manning instead of garcia.....but it was too late to change them......

good luck, blue. hopefully, I'll kick your ass into next week.

Griff 11-23-2008 02:55 PM

Nice game T.O. too bad you're never getting off the Goat bench again.

jinx 11-23-2008 06:30 PM

It's a very good week for the Hippies (yay!) who appear to be clinching their division win.

glatt 11-23-2008 08:16 PM

Matt Cassel, 39 points in one game? wtf? How am I supposed to compete with that? Way to go, Clod.

lumberjim 11-23-2008 08:30 PM

boy, glatt...aren't you glad you benched Donovan before Andy did?

glatt 11-23-2008 08:35 PM

Yes! But it probably won't be enough.

I a big liar. C'mon they're playing Seattle.

Anybody tell whip that animated avatar sucks ass?

lumberjim 11-27-2008 10:30 AM

Really, you should start him every week, automatically. With Roy Williams on the team, Witten, Crayton, Barber.....it's just too much for teams to double him all game long.

lumberjim 11-27-2008 10:16 PM

oh shit glatt!

glatt 11-28-2008 07:13 AM

huh? What did I miss?

glatt 11-28-2008 07:14 AM

oops. Guess I shouldn't have benched them.

lumberjim 11-28-2008 08:03 AM

no....you totally should have.....everyone thought the Cardinals would run it up on the iggles. but, damn....85 points from the benched eagles.....

the funny thing is, you'll probably still win.

glatt 11-28-2008 09:01 AM

I actually had a fleeting thought as I benched them that McNabb's getting benched the week before would be the kick in the pants he needed to shape up. But I played it safe and benched them both anyway.

glatt 12-01-2008 08:41 AM

Apparently, players with funny names like "Plaxico" can end up shooting themselves in the foot with their off the field antics.

lumberjim 12-01-2008 09:45 AM

I think it was his thigh.....and it was an unregistered hand gun, which is illegal to carry outside of your house or business. He may be in some ca ca.

elSicomoro 12-01-2008 08:03 PM

There are so many poster children for not fucking up in the NFL...you'd think people would learn.
