Although I have a long way to fulfil LJ's prediction that when I'm "hot" I won't, I will probably start wearing knickers soon, just because my self esteem is coming back with each month that passes.

The first post was totally self-flagellation. A desperate "you think I'm moaning about being fat, look! THIS is what I did to myself!!" And then people posted and were so kind, I wanted to show that this time it wasn't just pointless whining - I was working from rock bottom. Ah - can you say that if your aim is lower?

Anyway. Thanks to those who posted. And in a way thanks to those who looked and didn't - I would have been devastated to get a negative post back then and steeled myself every time I came into this thread. Now I have a much more robust attitude born of the only things that count - effort and results.

Nuff said, more pictures now, less words please :p

(Though I'm sure this isn't entirely what you meant, I just wanted to sneak in here and mention that just because some of us don't post, doesn't mean we're thinking negative things...I think you're beautiful SG, and your hard work is showing...keep it up :) )

Despite the fact that the Cellar is a wonderfully supportive place, I know that many people are grossed out by obesity - probably a natural reaction to an unhealthy body. So I appreciate that if anyone was, they kept it to themselves.
