Crash is too fucking adorable. I mean, that kind of cute should be illegal.

Lucy is awesome. I love the way she is basically a great hunk of muscle and power but has the most delicate name :P

I have a big old crush on Crash. It's like a Dave Mathews concert. :)

pssst...don't tell Pilau, he's still my true love. ;)

I like Lucy's spot on her eye. Reminds me of Petey from "The Little Rascals".

I've never seen eyes light up that color in a camera flash. He does have blue eyes, just not quite that blue.

Lucy has given me nothing but trouble for the past 12 months ...
She got her foot stuck in the picket fence and dislocated her shoulder, torn my hands to shreds when I got her out (me ..emergency room for treatment and tetnus from her biting..her...vets for shoulder).

Allergic reaction to something that bit her. She used to get out every day and frolic around...the ranger kicked my arse about that. She pulls washing off the line everyday, she knows its wrong...she cringes before I even see the washing. Jumped up on the hood of the car to get the cat! Runs off when let off the lead.

In the past three months she has become the nicest puppy, listens to commands, less boisterous, no nipping when she gets excited.

My little girl grew up. She still pulls the washing, but she's never nasty and is so tolerant of the kids.

Great breed American Bulldog.

A great hunk of muscle and power. It's cool how some dogs just have that look about them. There's a Boxer in my neighborhood, and one day she ran the length of the block, and all I could do was admire her frame and build at full gallop.

I love Lucy! She does remind me of Petey! Crash is the most adorable potential sock eater!

I have a patch eye puppy too. Her name is Cashmere and I can't decide if she is asking me about her manicure or telling me to talk to the paw! :eyebrow:

Either way I am sure she said F ewe to her green sheep!
;)

After I moved back here (but my mental health was still... shakey) I spent a lot of time in our local park. I've taken pics of it - very few facilities, just a long green slope towards the road. Most of the people who came with dogs came to exercise them. It's small as parks go so during school hours they can let the dogs off the lead. They chased and ran and ran and fetched and ran. And a bit more running.

Even when it was too cold even for me to sit still for long, I still gloried in watching them at full stretch.

We just realized the other night, that Crash wears his heart on his hip.

DanaC 06-24-2011 04:34 PM

Awwww! Oh that's too fucking cute.

I want to steal him away and keep him for my own...

An' I'll hug him, an' squeeze him..

A picture of the occasionally mentioned but not often shown Mia, my parents' OAP cat.
She's not all that friendly, although I'ver been wooing her since I moved in and she gets on tolerably well with me in the mornings before Mum & Dad are up. She comes into the toilet and lets me fuss her while I am on the throne. And she lets me clean her eyes. And she doesn't struggle if I pick her up - although she is obviously unhappy with the procedure. That part is about me being grabby rather than wooing, but she's slowly getting used to it.

She's not a lap cat either, although she will sometimes put two paws on Mum's legs in order to facilitate stroking. I think Mum believed her to be a friendly cat until Diz came to stay. Also she thought Mia was tiny until he came! In fact she is very small, but Singas are the smallest pedigree cats and are dwarfed but your average garden Tom. She's barely larger than Diz and I think most of that is fluff. You can tell she's getting older though - under the fur you can feel her bones. She still catches the odd bird though, and has a mad half-hour racing through the house. Lots of life in the old girl yet.
