Thatsa nice. Instead of her cleaning the scooter and going home at night. She can clean it and go upstairs with you LJ. Smart move.

Congratulations LJ.
Cool. Is the upstairs remodeled to be a separate duplex unit from the downstairs, or is it still one contiguous house?
It's separated by a wall they put it at the top of the back stairs. I'll have a door or opening put in there. The main stairs are gone.
It will need some rehab, but I think we can make it work for now. |
Sounds like a good move. Congrats you two.
Good for you both. Happy for you.
No more scratching your balls in the kitchen, though.
it's a good thing, lumberjim.
Do your own laundry, don't let her see your skid marks.~laugh~
tarheel |
Do guys really have skid marks? I don't think I have since 1 was like 12. I don't wear white, but I'm pretty sure I'm more careful than that.
Riding a bike in bad weather, or Eagles post-game traffic, will do that some times. ;)

I don't wear white jockeys either. Damn things cramp my balls. Just because my wife can't have children doesn't mean I can't ride to the Pink Pony in Myrtle Beach. A man needs to keep his load checked or I might as well get in the box and close the lid.

Now it's done.

The whitewalls and the white trim on the seat really set that bike off great.
That's what I was thinking when I decided to do them. I love it when a plan comes together.

I don't be seeing no twisted quintuple chrome plated spokes, neither.:eyebrow:
What the fuck have to do with motorcycles?
Posted in the wrong thread...I was wondering why I didn't see it in the recipes thread...whoops!
Gravs I would rather get a set of mags than a wheel that has twice as many spokes as I have now. I will wait and see what LJ buys. Besides chrome spoked wheels are a pia to keep clean and waxed.
tarheel |
I think the spokes go better with the vintage look I was after. I've got a spoke brush. I'll just need to be good about keeping them clean.
Oh no! How will you decide who to root for? ;)
He won't be wearing his Cowboys gear.
Sez you. I just need to decide. Romo, Emmit or Dez? You'll notice the tickets are for AT&T stadium. That's in Arlington TX.
I met Amanda exactly 5 years from that date at a Dallas Eagles game Sunday night in Philly. I was thinking about asking her to go to the game with me since I have 2 tickets. |
Congrats on the woman, house, and bike. The Cowboys thing...
No better feeling in the world than being in love.

You'll have to wait until January to watch the birds lose to us at home
I'll be there - Already got my tickets. Hoping Wentz is playing by then.
How many years did you guys misuse Bradford before the trade?
Sammy Sleeves is a fraud. Refuses to throw the long ball.... Gets that deer in headlights look on his face.... He won't be missed
Never saw the team truly throw a season before, so this is a weird feeling. OTOH 1st and 4th round picks is an amazing value for someone you hope won't play after this season.
Never seen it before? This is so reminiscent of Donovans arrival, it's like it's scripted.
The Vikings is/are the best team he will have ever played for. This may be a perfect fit for him. If he and AP can stay healthy, they are gonna be a force. We'll see. As an Eagles fan, I'm really happy. He was nothing more than a stopgap here anyway. His value was at its peak and we got more than anyone could have expected for him.
As for the deal itself, this deal fell into the Eagles laps. The Eagles were going to win 5-6 games this year with or without Bradford. So whats the loss? The Eagles get a 1 & a 4 for a guy who has no heart whatsoever and was never well liked by his teammates. This was a fantastic, albeit opportunistic, move. And this ... Reports are leaking out that the Eagles also will start Wentz game 1. Wow, how fast everything just changed. |
Ah now it's not like Donovan's first year... In 1999 Donovan waited until week 9 to start. they are throwing the kid in there, he starts game one, they just announced.
at least it will be interesting maybe i will keep agholor just in case |
I'm excited... This is more like Troy Aikman's first year where he started game 1 and subsequently went 1-15.
*side note* I just got tickets to the Eagles/Vikings game - the return of Sammy Sleeves. Ha!!!! |
How many snaps has Wentz taken? How did he look? I haven't seen him throw the ball yet
Played like a half of preseason game one before taking a hit and cracking two ribs.
He looked good out there, moved around and such, avoided a loss or two... looked "intelligent", but it was preseason and I am preseason-agnostic. My personal belief is that preseason is almost useless as an indicator of how real games are going to go. Kid will need reps to figure out this thing... |
Dunno if this link will work....
My dad usually makes these private... Remember a couple years ago when my uncle died? He was the straw that stirred the drink whenever we got together. Still miss him. This made me get something in my eye. http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...99839a0713.jpg |
Hmmm. Red and black bike. I told my son I was going to paint my tins this winter fire engine red. He said the blue and silver are the colors of the Carolina Panthers. What a quandary.

I think that was 1988. My dad was 47. His softail was an 87. Dunno what year Biffs fat boy was.

Seemed like the biggest issue is that the perrennialy lack luster receiving corps couldn't get open. And they dropped a few to boot. Not going to be a fun year in Philly. |
Oh, you seem to believe that preseason is useful as an indicator of how real games are going to go.
Not really. I look more at individual performance. I think Chase Daniel lost the starting job more than anything. He took 4 sacks in the first half because he held the ball too long.
Doug Pederson was Daniel's QB coach last year. He's an entirely known quantity. There's no need to evaluate him in preseason.
Then why play him at all?
For all the reasons there is a preseason... to train the playbook, establish unity, and evaluate everyone on the field who does need evaluatin'.
The way I see it, outcomes don't matter... but the film does... so he may be instructed to stay in the pocket and take hits, because the point of a quarter is to figure out if the guards are going to be able to do a certain kind of pull or trap or whatever it is they need to do. We don't know what the point of these plays are, which is why I don't care about preseason Chase Daniel is QB Doug Pederson in 1999, brought in because he is a known quantity, understands Pederson's system, will coach the whiz kid, and most importantly: become a backup and happily take that role. Something Sammy did not do... |
Instructed to stay in the pocket and take hits? A guy you're paying 7mil? Neh.
You don't pull or trap in pass protection. Well, screen passes, but that's not what they were doing. He either lacked the confidence in his receivers or they are not getting open even a little. This is just one game. The offense managed what, 3 points? But then Wentz has played zero snaps with the first string, so he didn't really have a pre season. You guys went 4-0 last year too. What's your prediction for this year's record? |
This is 1999, so 5-11

Tell the 69 joke.

Please tell the 69 joke.

A man went to a house of ill repute. Told the madam he wanted something different. He had done everything. She named a few things and he said he had done those. Did you ever 69? No I don't believe I have.
So he goes to a room, takes his clothes off and gets into the position with a pretty young woman. They going at it and he is happy. Couple minutes go by and phsst, she farts in his face. Whoa. God, what did she eat? The air clears and he is going at it again. Phsst. Oh no, stop right now he says, dear girl I do like what we doing and all, but I don't think I can take another 67 of them. tarheel |
Sir, I thank you.
