That's amusing. I like how he does that little cock of the head each time at the exact same point.
I saw this the other day, and now, on seeing it again, I'm really curious about the story behind this video. Somebody took a lot of time to make this video. Somebody with access to all these clips. It could be someone who DVRs the news at home, but that would be a lot of work. I have a suspicion that it's someone from the TV station. Maybe it's simple boredom and a desire by one of the video editors to make a funny little movie, or maybe someone had a grudge with old Gustavo there and is trying to make him look dumb. Reminds me of some famous anchor woman who was having a temper tantrum on camera before a broadcast, and somebody put that temper tantrum to music. |

The hand wavy isn't helping, is it? The Dalai Lama totally knows that joke and is playing the interviewer, that's my take on it. How in this world or the next could he not have heard that joke before... come on. Punk'd!
|
Funny funny funny. And I dont have to make it a big giant ass video to cover the whole posting area to prove it. Let's watch, shall we? |
Open Condom Style!

Tim Vine, doing infinity puppets
|
Lamby??
I know him as Baaab. |
That was funnier than it should have been.
|
When threads collide;
Good music and funny youtube and legalize pot. I give you, Pot Shop! |
That's bloody brilliant. I like it better than the original.
Is it just me or has Big V, like, totally got hip and turned on to the herb, man? |
you flatter me, man.
i am in a good mood tonight, this contributes to that mood, but not phamacologically. i thought I'd post the original near the parody so they can be compared more easily. i think the parody is *first class*, they put in a great deal of effort to match it to the original. though the subject material is different, this strikes me like the high fidelity parodies from Weird Al Yankovic. Bullseye musicianship, razor sharp lyrics, and a sense of humor that should be registered as a lethal weapon. Thrift Shop by Macklemore. |
yey! Tankee V. They were great :)

ha! You basically just described the whole of Tim Vine's career in standup :P He's mainly known for a combination of speedily delivered one liners and wordplay and really bizarre stage stuff. Clip of his One Night Stand: And one of his more outrageous stage tricks...there aren't many people who could pull this off. Not the trick...the performance. The audience has total faith in him throughout. |
Griff, is this real?
|
Umm, no.
|
That one dude is a sheep. Goats can make some close to people sounds but some of these don't listen true.
|
|
Wacky!

The Infidel was on tv last night. One of those films I have been intending to see since before it came out but somehow never have. I was trying to find a full scene clip on the toob, but there weren't many good ones. So, here's a trailer for it instead:
|
Hey, it's Richard Schiff! Loved him in The West Wing. So you recommend it?
|
is the pope Catholic?
|
Now that's just weird. I found my library has some TV shows on DVD, and I'd never seen West Wing...so I am watching the first season.
|
uh oh.
you're screwed for then next 1,200 hours. |
never seen West Wing? Wow.
|
I'd love to hear your impressions of West Wing as you watch it some. I loved it back in the day, but I wonder if it holds up. Seems to me like it would get kind of dated. I remember everything in the world got so much more serious after 9/11 and thought West Wing had a hard time staying relevant after that. But it was still real good.
|
It's been my impression so far that it does seem dated. Like it paved the way for so many types of shows like it and those shows get grittier and grittier.
But I like it so far. Just watched a few episodes. I love Allison Janney as an actress and I'll take any Sheen or Estevez you got. I did notice a Renee Estevez in the credits and it is Martin's daughter and Charlie and Emilio and Ramon's sister. And Rob Lowe had drinks at the Country Club in my town and I could've met him but I was too shy and he also was seen at The Spot in Sidney with his grandpa. Grandpa passed away some years ago, but Rob spent a lot of time with him. Do all the characters change at some point? |

Definitely recommend the Infidel. Very funny. Has a warmth to it. And the British muslim family is lovely. I especially liked their dread when it turns out their son's fiancee is related to a nutjob fundamentalist preacher and he's coming for a visit.
Omid Djalili is superb in it. |
Ok, ok. Macklemore's hot video "Thrift Shop"
And now for the sincerest form of flattery. By the smokers out there: By the console gamers out there: By the children of "Hopeful Parents" out there: And by the recently and joyfully pardoned ex-pound-ees out there: |

I'm dedicating this one to Kitsune and Dazza: |
fair warning, this is a rickroll
but you'll be MAD about it! |
I laughed way too long at this girl. She prolly cried after turning off the camera.
But I laughed, and laughed...Thank God I'm a guy.:lol2: |
Guess that's one of those, nothing left to do but make the other side match, situations. I wonder if she still posted the video because she has a sense of humor, or she's setting up a law suit. ;)

The have a youtube channel called LivePrudeGirls
They have a bunch of interviews, the one with Bob Odenkirk was ok. I didn't watch any others yet. http://www.youtube.com/user/LivePrud...?feature=watch |
The one with BJ Novak was funny. A little NSFW language.
|
The one with Hannah Hart from Drunk Kitchen was pretty funny too, and seemed completely ad libbed.
|
|
Sending this one out to infinite monkey--

Well... I thought that was YOU at 1:25-1:38 in the black tshirt mounting the exterior cameras onto the car. You *do* have a history of making cool car commercials, so... not unprecedented. |

I don't always watch Never Mind the Buzzcocks these days. But if there's a good guest host or team guest I tune in.
For the uninitiates, Buzzcocks is a long running music based panel game. The only regulars are the two team captains: Phil Jupitus and Noel Fielding (both very funny), their team mates and the show host are different every week. This episode was a particularly funny one. Richard Ayoade as guest host. I love him, he's brilliant. p.1 |
The kids and I have been watching "Walk on the Wild Side" very hilarious.
One of our favorites is the Meerkats. We had no idea that it was riffing on the apprentice or who lord sugar was. In looking for a clip and googling lord sugar I discovered the reference. Still funny, though. The kids walk around saying "Andrew, with regret, you're tired." that and "Sid, this is the voice of your conscience." "what? I ain't done nuffin" |
He was the sidler, but he sidles me no more.
I think the look on my face let him know the score. But that don't mean that he don't think He's the wiz-bang employee and the rest of us stink. Maybe one day you'll earn your 2 year degree And have more credibility, and people won't all be: Get the eff out, you trouble-makin' tool You think you're the wiz, but you're only the fool. |
