@ Buster: it hardly seems possible, but Buddy is actually getting cuter.

Diz cat fits perfectly well inside his "igloo".
In fact when I had Dylan, the two of them would sometimes sleep in there together.
It's been hot recently, so maybe he felt that a foot hanging out was the way to go.
More likely he was pressing his face into the fur inside for extra warmth. He can't understand why I would use temperatures of 26 as a reason to switch off his heated bed.

Now when the heat pad is on, he sleeps in the drawer under my bed. There are also old jumpers of mine in there, which I wash when needed and then sleep with for a couple of nights to get my smell on them.
But he often joins me in the morning for a snuggle.
This was the other morning, when he dragged himself out from under the duvet to see what I was up, then went back to sleep in the warmth I left behind.

RIP Clyde. My best friend of 11 years, laid to rest when his skin cancer spread to his spine.

We are just waiting on his ashes to come back so he can be laid to rest with his other best mate, my Dad.

So sorry for your loss Ducks.
Eleven years is a good inning, but nowhere near long enough for a loved family member.
