I never heard that one before.

I would imagine black pepper in an open wound would be, uh,--noticeable?

I've done the black pepper thing for a small leak in a car/truck radiator, but not m'own leaks.

non-culinary uses for black pepper.
apparently

I use a product called WoundSeal, comes in little single-use powder packets.

That you pick off the table at your local diner?

By sprinkling flour in yer garden, aren't ya feeding the damned bugs? Ya leave yer flour out in an unsealed container, ya got a container of flour and bugs.

I think bugs like flour.

Well what if the person was black? I had to look at the wound which immediately bled again. More pepper and it stopped up. The question now is do I carry the kitchen shaker with me or the refill can?

Gravdigr 06-07-2018 09:56 PM

Anybody got a ten-foot pole I can not touch that question with?

Clodfobble 06-08-2018 02:49 PM

Are you all suggesting that black pepper in an open wound doesn't, you know, sting like a motherfucker?

I'll let someone else find out.

There seems to be a growing consensus that this is a problem for MILFs.

There are no taste buds in your skin. Say you was running across a field and came upon a barb wire fence. After dragging your tongue on a barb and putting black pepper on your tongue it wouldn't sting. It would be hot though.lol.

Gravdigr 06-10-2018 03:13 PM

Who the fuck said it would TASTE like any goddamn thing? And what does a black person have to do with anyfuckingthing?

We're saying it's gonna fucking hurt.

And it seems everyone else is saying anything but that just to say anything but that.

Clodfobble 06-11-2018 07:09 AM

There's no taste buds in your asshole, either, but that doesn't stop it from burning when you shit out too-spicy food.

Anyway, Grav--the internet says black pepper is hot from the compound piperine, not capsaicin like chili peppers, and thus doesn't sting. Most note it has to be finely-ground pepper to really work, though, so my coarse kitchen stuff is probably useless.
