Blowmee, lucky bastard. I haven't seen them in almost 10 years. Next thing you'll tell me is that you're going to see one of the Rev's 4 shows this week in Austin...I hate you.

Damnit, why isn't that son-of-a-bitch coming to the East Coast? He's playing the west solid until March.

Actually, if I head to any them, it will be to the one at Stubb's on Friday. I doubt it though. Last week was Tool; this Thursday is Tom Petty. I think I might have to go see some local music before I spend any more money on premium shows.

I probably won't be heading to another show until the spring. Hopefully the Reverend will be swinging through town, and Ministry should be touring to support Animositisomina.

I've only been to a handful of shows since I moved here...and that's a shame. Our local scene is spitting out some great hip-hop and R&B, but we could use some more rock music.

As much input as I have delivered for the sake of modern day mainstream, the stuff that really sticks to what little is left of my short and long term memory, are the classics. But I would probably remember if I heard it. You know what would be really cool? What about a thread simply for mainstream? classic rock, etc..

Hmmm, less confusion and more consistency in relevant topic matter. (pass)

Too many drugs, Joe? ;)

Just the facts. Even Tom Petty is a lip syncer, and the "waiting" was only the beginning. Not that I don't wonder what would make you say or suggest such a notion.

There will be no more Marylin Manson CD's from now on, in my collection anyway. How about this one? (I had to try at least one, so here goes.)

yellow matter custard
dripping from a dead dog's eye
cororation t-shirt
stupid bloody tuesday
man you've been a rotten BOY
you let your face grow long

Ooh, I just can't give it away by taking this further!

Actually mine was Angel of Death by Slayer ;)

Inever have listened to Slayer, but I am sure from the lyrics I read it's a heavy hitter of a metal group.

I reveal a deceiver
in the highest seat of the land
if I don't act
the devil's workshop
generates
more smoke than heat

this one's a gimme-

I hear you're working in a saloon. They say you're working midnight to noon. Now I might be from the woods but those hours don't sound so good.

I give up-

What is the name of the song I probably sang. You're kiling me, please tell me.:)

You've got a Methodist coloring book
and you color very well
just be sure not to draw outside of the lines
or you're going straight to hell

Griff 12-17-2002 06:24 AM

Little Feat was the front for that bit of genius.

I'm firing synapses on your amusing line but I don't think I'm gonna get there.

Not to embarass anyone, but yep. They just aren't really my favorite. The thing is that I haven't re-reviewed it since it was conceived and recorded. Matter of fact, that was just after doing the work for wet willie. Neville brothers as well. You would expect me to remember on the spot but it's an awful lot to remember some twenty-five years later, raped, bruised and broken.
And famous.;)

Red rain is falling down all over me
falling down-(that was with a retainer in my mouth, ugh! "The barry williams show" was recorded back in 1984). Did you see that thing on tv where he went into the snake pit and then later he allowed danny bonnaduce to knock him out? Interesting how it coincided with the release of the single from the new cd. I'm in stitches after watching and listening, ew!

Jo3's is more Dead Milkmen.

Here's one that nobody, absolutely nobody, will get because it's completely unfair.

Peep hole, Peach blow, Pandora, Pompadour
Pale leaf, Pink sweet, Persephone
