If you weren't always blocking my sun you'd seem a lot less shadowy to me.

Being popular can be cool, but just being is even better, Sun.

My 2,450 post!
And thanks to Cloud for making me pay attention to the numbers for once.

kerosene 05-23-2007 08:07 PM

Job hunting? Is that the way for the next president to talk?

It's been a year since I first signed on to the Cellar. Happy Anniversary to me.

Things I've learned from the Cellar:

There are wonderful (funny, smart, caring) people the world over.

There are mean (selfish, dispassionate, hurtful) people the world over.

I'm not as funny as I think I am. :)

I can be overbearing. Everything is not all about me.

I have good qualities that some people appreciate.

I may be the most hated person on the Cellar.

I like learning about other's opinions, and have even had second thoughts about some of my deeply ingrained opinions.

I learned what FSM, tubgirl, and that hand/buttspread thing I can't think of the name of is.

I've learned that coffee out the nose hurts.

I've learned that I'm a big wimp softy who takes things too personally (I actually already knew that...I just didn't know it was universal.) :)

I've also learned that I still put some importance on being asked to sit at the cool table.

I thank you all for the good times, the bad times, and all the times in between. Thanks for the laughs, the tears, and the opportunities to take a second look at myself.

You're an eclectic, wonderful, smart group of folks.

Whether ya hate me or not. ;)

Pssst...I'll tell you a secret. About 4 years ago someone very wise told be a very important rule about this internet thing. This rule I have only just now...on this website begun to practice.

He said,"Don't give anyone free rent in your head"

So many people have so many opinions. Alot of them are false so just be yourself without care of the others perceptions. After all you are not a mean troll. You are a nice person. So...Shawnee....YOU are ok just how you are!

Shawnee123 06-07-2007 10:13 AM

Amen on the free rent thing, sky. I'm learning, too.
Thanks. :)
