I don't see why he would feel 'run off' by us anyway. Every so often he acts like a dick. Like most of us do from time to time. And when he acts like a dick he gets jumped on. Like most of us from time to time. The last time he breezed through here he was being nasty and aggressive and people responded in annoyance. No different to any of the other times. I see no reason why he'd have taken it any more to heart this time.

I'm sure he'll be back when he's got time. He goes through periods when he simply doesn't have enough to spend it with all the lovely people here who appreciate him so much. :)

It does little or nothing for serious mental issues, but in the field of public communication, by couching debates in certain terms and making certain assumptions, can influence people who are not paying close attention. Or at least, modern political spin merchants think it can.

My brother qualified as an NLP counsellor. It can be useful in tackling some mental issues. It's just about providing tools and techniques. In the right hands it can be quite impactful.
