I had tuna, mayo and grated cheese mixed together.

I feel like I'm going to chunder now.

I had tacos! Yay!

More dry crackers probably.
I might push the boat out and have some dry toast.

chicken, spinach and mozzarella panini sandwich and coleslaw (that I attempted to make out of a failed recipe. I hope it tastes ok :/)

Didn't feel like making a sandwich or mixing some fruity yogurt or thawing anything, cooked up a mess of spaghetti. And yes, I mean mess literally. Sauce splotches on various parts of the stove from when I pulled the lid off the sauce and meatballs to stir. And yes, I know that meant the heat was too high, I prefer an aggressive simmer when I'm in a hurry.

On the upside, I now have four further meals in the fridge.

We're having chicken, salad and a lemon pesto fettuccine for lunch.

I'm going to my cousins house. I'm supplying the pasta. She's doing the chicken and salad.

What's on a Jewish hoagie?-details!

I don't know from rueben. I don't like sauerkraut. I know now that sauerkraut is on a rueben.

(I've told this story before, but I don't care.) So I'm working at the bar/restaurant at lunch, a hundred years ago, and some old ladies came in. I'm cooking, and one of them had a rueben. She commented that it was awfully 'hot.'

Hey, sauerkraut and horseradish look the same to me when they're in tupperware containers, and as I don't eat either and wouldn't eat a rueben if you paid me, I didn't know. Ooops! It was very embarrassing!

Tomorrow is going to be lasagna soup! I am in a soup mood, so I will be having stuffed green pepper soup, too. I just realized that I am going out on Wednesday and I am disappointed it won't be eating the stuffed pepper soup then - lol

Clodfobble 03-20-2012 10:34 AM

I keep making almond cookies for the kids and then eating them all myself.

Today's lunch seriously needs to be something other than cookies. Seriously.

Wednesday is roast dinner day at school.
I usually partake.

Which is ridiculous really.
I have approx 20 mins to get all the children down to the hall and served, then scoff a roast dinner and dessert, then get to Craft Club. I leave Craft Club early in order to set up Friendship Club for Mars.

Thing is, the only session I have any influence over is Friendship Club.
And as it's difficult to find a regular free room for it, I could justify changing days. But inside I'd know it was really just to make things easier for myself, so I'd best not. Also Craft Club finishes after the Easter holidays (children start dropping out when the weather gets warmer) so I'll be less rushed soon.

Tomorrow is.... oh. Just looked it up. Roast chicken.
I might save myself the trouble - not a big fan.
Then again - cheesecake for dessert :yum:

Jewish Hoagie:
Includes corned beef, pastrami, beef salami, Swiss cheese, Russian dressing and coleslaw.
Bread & Bagels
The beef salami was exquisite. all crusted around the edges with black pepper, and love... and their bread is lightly crusty, yet fluffy, and powdered with flour. It was hella messy to eat, and I could only do half... but I had the other half today. Well worth the $7.59.
