I find this video funny and original, although I have passed it on to others who have not found it remotely amusing.

Anyway, see for yourselves......

I got a PlantCam for my birthday. I got to try it out today for the first time. It's pretty cool. It's a time lapse digital camera. You can control how often it takes a shot. It's housed in a weather proof case, and can be mounted pretty much anywhere. It takes 4MP images that can be stitched together later, or it will take 640x480 videos with frames taken at an interval you set.

It's pretty cool.

So here's the video I made today, while I was at work, of the birds polishing off the seed in the bird feeder in our front yard. Also you get to see my wife running errands in the car. One frame every five minutes over the course of 11 hours.

Very cool, Glatt. The birds really did suck up that seed.

i never saw your wife..... just the car blinking in and out of existence. and holy hungry birds..... you have to fill that thing every day?

Shawnee123 04-16-2010 07:26 AM

Cool!

Tell your wife she should consolidate into fewer trips. ;)

This guy gets his camera stolen by an octopus, and has a tough time getting it back. Have to admire his restraint in not spearing the thief.
