Excellent call!

Very interesting. I never knew there was such a thing as banana stem, other than the handle part you peel back on a banana.

Yes, the stem is what the bunches grow on...

Clodfobble 02-18-2014 04:58 PM

Looks like a meal worm.

Lola Bunny 02-18-2014 09:48 PM

Ahhh....looks like it. Thanks!

monster 02-18-2014 10:03 PM

meal worm yes. the bearded dragon eats them. crunchy.

monster 02-18-2014 10:04 PM

um.... where did you find it? keep it in the fridge or it will become a beetle....

Sundae 02-18-2014 10:54 PM

Mealworms seem to be the pop stars of the beetle world. Incredibly popular and ubiquitous when young, unwanted when they develop into adults.

Bloke 02-19-2014 01:21 AM

Looks like a melted vibrator.

My friend saw it in the forest where he lives. He didn't know what it was either.

Aha. Very good.

Lola Bunny 02-19-2014 10:59 AM

Did more search on mealworms to see what kind of beetles they become. Found out that they are edible for human consumption. I want to say yuck then I thought. Who on the Cellar eats mealworms?
