Pirates!

(Fools gold = Iron pyrites, minus iron (being unironic) = pirates, yeah???)

Or international talk-like-a-pirate-day. Arrrr.

Err, UT, how does "Grain now found on top of grain" relate to milk?

monster 09-19-2011 08:09 AM

I thought milk too, but the grains put me off and i was moving towards a reuben sandwick or philly cheesestek.....

and ding on the pirates talk. here was my alternate version:

R R R R R
R R R R R R R
R R R R R

Undertoad 09-19-2011 10:18 AM

It starts as grain, cows eat it, convert it to milk, and then we put it on our breakfast grains.

I realized that was the hard part so I was going to change it to "Changed grain tops our morning grains" as the hint.

Ooh, I'll have to check with the referee ....

... yes, we'll take that, although the exact answer is just U2 (the first line refers to the spy plane, the second to the band, the third to the text abbreviation). DING.

It is indeed the Fibonacci sequence, only jumbled up. I thought that would be easy. I guess I'm a nerd.

glatt 09-20-2011 07:24 AM

Now what are you going to make with just a single Lego? That's just crazy talk. You need a bin of Legos to really make something.
