Strangely this ain't bad, the chick has a beautiful voice.
|
Willie Nelson and Sinead O'Connor do Peter Gabriel's "Don't Give Up", from 1993. I had never heard this version before, and it's just fine.
|
I love both their voices. I would never think to put those two voices together, but it's good.
|
That got the song in my head and I went over to the original Peter Gabriel version on YouTube to have a listen.
There are over 10,000 comments on Peter Gabriel's version where people just spill their guts about how his song literally saved their lives and got them through their pain and grief. That kind of blew me away. Peter Gabriel and Kate Bush have probably saved thousands of lives just by singing. |
Wow. That's a pretty amazing thing.

Thank you, Undertoad. Wow!

This is kind of stuck in my head.
and my heart. I did send it to Twil, as a love song. .... .... Not sure if that was a good idea. |
That dude has a great voice.
Blursed message. |
I'd wager that some institution somewhere is looking for that fella.
Voice is not bad. Song is not bad. 6/10 - Would smoke with. |

I like the way Springsteen presents this song now...

She plays pretty well, I should think she could make enough to buy some pants.
Just kidding, she probably paid three times as much as she would have for an unripped pair. |

Nice, old-school groove here.
Want to know who the musicians are? Apparently, who ƒucking cares?? Look at these credits from one of his albums, from Wikipedia. Like, who plays the DRUMS? you know? the GUITAR? etc.? |
hmmm... maybe just assembled samples? I watched Yesterday last night, their view of the LA music scene lines up with these credits. Whatever happened to our insider?
