Ah, I remember the good old days of pensive pam, Starring_Emma, and duck_duck. Back then people weren't so lazy that they couldn't pen their thoughts to cultivated personal mental images in others. Nowadays, some people just can't be bothered so they feed others pre-fab images that are not their own. Yes, I was here back then to witness the GIANTS among attention whores. The neighborhood is going downhill.

I lurk mostly nowadays. been working quite a bit and have an awesome g/f that treats me too well. friend me on facebook, I usually have that up in the background and for a better reason to friend, I post a shit ton of funny crap. (but, i am no Democrat so don't get pissed off and butt hurt when i post funny shit about NObama if you do friend me.) I'm friends with several dwellers like Zip, LJ and Wolf just to name a few.....

Another one returns from the Hell that is Texas
 

The air was getting a little stuffy down in the ole bunker so I thought I'd come up for some fresh. And while I was here and I see that the internet hasn't been banned yet, I thought I'd pop in and see what my friends have been up to.

My life has been in some turmoil but things are going forward.

In short, I managed to wreck my truck Jan 18, 2011. Bad. It's amazing that I walked out unharmed. My codriver also escaped mostly unharmed. The truck was totalled. This put paid to my trucking career.

I have had exactly zero job offers since then. It is legal to discriminate against transpeople in Texas. Encouraged, even, by our erstwhile politicians. So money has been a bit tight. The beloved and I remain married, against all odds. The furkids are all still with us, despite my urgent desire to shoot Toby for spilling a 32 oz cup of kool aid on my laptop and frying it.

So, we have been forced to cut back here and there, tighten our belts and do away with our planned vacations.

My transition has been necessarily put aside for a while but it's not over! I still work on my voice training and hormones and other medical issues. I pretend that I don't miss talking to my therapist. I live my life authentically, and I don't need no one's stinkin' stamp of approval. :)
