I have reviewed the results of your nuclear medicine scan done Jan 15, 2008.

The results were within normal limits. This means you are at low risk for a cardiovascular event over the next 2 years.

Most heart attacks, however, occur suddenly, so please follow the guidelines on the enclosed time is life handout.

Woo Hoo! We got us a busterb for a lil while longer!

Dobutamine scans are usually reserved for people who cannot tolerate the regular stress tests. Did you do the treadmil stress test before the dob test?

No. The nurse, tester and I had a few words about how it was done. I didn't think it was realistic for me to set in car for 1 1/2 hrs, then waiting rooms for a few more, then do the treadmill at her speed. My knees and hips don't work that way anymore.

Good for you to take a stand bb - many "older folks" would have just tried and failed or messed up their bodies further.

1 day road trip

Mike and I made a trip to my old home town today. We stopped at Whitesands Church, where my great grandpa and maw are buried. He was born 1833, died 1888. Couldn't read his wife's stone, only feel the letters. Born 1840, died 1904. On to New Hebron, where my Dad had the first of 3 5&10 stores.
Where his store, the grocery, barber shop, and movie house were is now a slab and a dollar general store.

We ate lunch in town and got to talk to an old couple who knew some of my folks. Told me if had got there earlier, could have got in a domino game with some real old men!

Couldn't find the old house. Where I think it was is a newer house with a trailer beside it.

On to Shivers grave yard, where my grand pa, maw,and aunts and uncles are buried,He was born 1867 died 1947. She died in 1933. I only remember seeing him once, an old man with a white beard.

One of my aunt's houses is still there, but someone has bought the land to grandpa's old place and close the pig trail. No one around there would answer their door. So lots of unanswered questions.

Only photos are of tomb stones, so if anyone gives a big rats ass, I'll post.

I would love to see the tombstones. I have a thing for cemetaries anyway; there is an old cemetary across the road from where I grew up, we would go over there and play "ghost in the graveyard." Many of the stones can't be read they are so old. It's very cool.

Sounds like a neat trip, busterb.

Oooo, yes, buster. Post the tombstones! I love old graveyards, etc. Very peaceful and sort of...I dunno...comforting in a way.

ps--I am morose today. I don't know why.

Shine's anvil launcher took a turn for the worst last Friday.

glatt 04-23-2008 03:36 PM

Do flames shoot out those cracks when you try to launch an anvil, and the anvil just sits there?

Edit: I just noticed the screws on the corners for leveling the thing up so the anvils go straight up. I like it. Nice design.

Good welders are sooo hard to get these days... all the good ones have retired. :lol2:

The Flying Anvil's engineering group was to meet this wk-end to plan a new gun. But we postponed, till we get around to it. Or sober up, what ever fits. :smack:
