Okay, basing that on two drummers, but I don't know many

Drummers are the rowdiest. (good for a fun fling)
Bass players are the quiet solid ones. (good for conversation, friendship, passionate experiences, etc.)
Guitar players are the loudest and cutest. (good for telling your friends "that's my boyfriend...he's in a band"...etc.)

Just a hunch. I haven't dated many band guys. Known a few, though.
