RE: the first pony. Where's the dental floss bush?

Are they Connemaras? The heads seem finer than Welsh's. How many hands are they, it's tough to get a good idea of scale.

I haven't been able to track down the owners of the stables yet to find out - he's a bit elusive.

Meanwhile, however, he has moved the foal and his mother back to the main field, so some more photos - junior has grown and sports a mohican haircut whilen mum looks pregnant again!

Junior is definitely developing into a bit of a poser, and he's a bit nosey too!

If they hang you for horse theivery, what do they do for steling a pony? Just choke you for awhile?

skysidhe 06-13-2006 09:47 AM

beautiful palomino

I think they look like welsh ponys
.( @ wolf, yes the heads seem finer. It's hard to tell scale. I agree. They seem bigger than a miniature? ) As far as I can tell we might be thinking of the Welsh mountain pony which is a hand shorter or so and stocky?

We had a welsh pony. Best pal in the world.

magickal ponies! how cool!

Elspode 06-13-2006 11:10 PM

Looks like they might make good housepets...given a large house, that is.

When I was in college we debated the merits of genetically engineering apartment-sized cows. They would be about big enough for a good cheesesteak.

I'm getting seriously worried about wolf. She simply cannot be allowed to have any pets. All she thinks about is how to cook them and I don't think that's healthy for her or the pet. Maybe she could have a pet carrot...
