Sidhe (pronounced Shee) is gaelic for fairy - faerie if you prefer. Many stories refer to the Daoine Sidhe (Deena or Theena Shee). Damn dangerous for mortals to get involved with I can tell you.

The Fuzz is the police in Britain. Hot Fuzz therefore means Mr Pegg looking like someone you want to kneel down in front of. YMMV.

Nononononono................

Daniel Criag is strawberry "flavoured" chocolate
Simon Pegg is real strawberries dipped in melted Belgian chocolate

(he's funny - I melt)

Simon Pegg is sex on legs.

He is also incredibly funny.

What makes Hot Fuzz so funny, and what also made Shaun of the Dead so funny, is that Pegg and his two mates are complete movie nerds. They completely get the genres they are using/abusing.

Loved Shaun of the dead - Hot Fuzz is on the must see list...

Trouble is, I laugh too long and miss too much - might wait 'til dvd.

Receding chin and hairline, scrawny legs, national health teeth? That Simon Pegg?

I must be missing something.

I've just been back and reviewed my Celebrity Bang List.
Those appear to be my criteria for finding men attractive :D

*grins* me too!

Thing about Pegg is, his eyes are incredible and when he smiles he gets those gorgeous laughter lines.

You just described most Brits. If British women needed perfect glinting white teeth to find someone attractive, we'd have died out as a race;)

There is clearly something about the British psyche that I am unable to fathom despite years of watching PBS.

Sundae 03-20-2007 12:40 PM

In my case it's because I always fall for men who make me laugh - even in the fantasy realms of Celebrity Bang I find funny men sexy.

In defence of my fellow Brits, I am generally considered peverse for lusting after intelligent and witty men who would only get on a catwalk if they had a broom in their hand.

Trilby 03-20-2007 01:17 PM

In the defense of British men, I have two things to say: DANIEL CRAIG

tho, i find Pegg sexy, too.

DanaC 03-20-2007 05:04 PM

It's difficult to define what 'sexy' is. It can just be looks....but for me it rarely is. I think Johnny Depp is tres sexy....but I also think Simon Pegg is adorable. Oh, and Daniel Craig is gorgeous.

When my girl friends and I have played the celebrity bang list game, itr's rarely the 'traditionally' handsome ones we pick out. It's usually the slightly quirky, bags of personality, little bit dangerous and make you laugh type.

Sundae 06-15-2007 12:05 PM

Got my copy of Hot Fuzz.
Stayed up late last night and watched the first two commentaries, deleted scenes, out takes, plot holes, making of documentary and more I can't remember - going to watch it simply as a film again tonight. They know how to load a dvd with extras!

Edgar Wright shaved off his beard (mostly) at some point during filming. It's true, he does look 12 years old without it.

Rafe Spall looks absolutely gorgeous in the making of documentary, even though he doesn't in the film. Odd.
