This sort of management behaviour really shits me. I mean, what if you were REALLY sick, like (God forbid) comatose; would the place just stop? It shows where family sits in his priorities.

Having said that, it is a standard male response of "I see a problem, I can fix it, full speed ahead and damn the torpedoes!" But it's bloody inconsiderate nontheless.

It's not your boss' desicion to decide what's best for your children. Remember he's only looking out for his best interests.

Maybe he has no problem with the business, he just can't go a day without your hot bod to inspire him.
