We specialize in poor taste,
I figure a mid-teen girl, plucked out of the Orient and dropped in the US, watching TV news, along with the cautions all parents give teen daughters, was probably pretty nervous here. Usually mid-teen girls don't get to do much exploring outside of where they're living and no way to counter the TV news paranoia. I seem to remember her saying something about Mexican toughs in her area too.

Given all that, she has a warped perspective of the US and never had a real chance (and maybe not desire) to sample the freedoms we cherish or understand having them is worth the trouble that can come with them.

I don't think we should coddle the young 'uns, or call them on their age (EXCEPT for NSFW). When they come here, they ought to expect to be treated like everyone else--which I think they do.

So much analysis of ducky.

But it still doesn't make her posts less incredulous and less degrading of American society. I'm not apologizing. She won't be either.

Btw, did she get banned? I read "when she comes back" a few posts above mine.

She flitted off to Hong Kong with the family -- and her posts turned weird.

Why do you torture yourself by reading my posts, ali? I don't usually read yours as I had my fill of self-righteous nuns in high school.

BTW--you've the personality of dry toast. You're a boring, moralizing drag, ali. That's a sin worse than most in my book. Now, off with you, harpy. Go bother the nudists or something.

She lost her Dad in the process if I remember correctly. That could be a big part of the problem.

Is that supposed to make me feel sorry for her? like her? Or, pity her?

coz it doesn't. If she doesn't want to get burned...she should something-something. She wants to play in the Cellar?--let her play.

I mentioned that by way of an explanation (to UG) for her change of attitude. Her Mom is probably poisoning her relationship with her Dad and the States. Oh and fuck you you touchy bitch. Does it really hurt you to understand other people?

So much teen abuse... what about her fragile developing personality that you all are oppressing?

"Paging Dr. Double Standard! Paging Dr. Double Standard! You have a message at the desk Sir."

fuck YOU, you high and mighty ape.

you pansy fucktard.

Consider this: I thought this was a clever thread. UG mentioned that the timing of dd loosing her mind coincided with her move back to Hong Kong. I offered a possible explanation and you being an attention whore decided it was all about you. The real funny part is that I actually hate what she said, since she opposes immigration.

Are we seriously going to start fighting with each other when this thread is ABOUT ducky's lack of listening skills, intelligent comments and knowledgable intent? She shouldn't be starting a prarie fire amongst ourselves.

Griff 06-02-2007 01:43 PM

The fight is over thin-skinned Bri went home crying again.

YES, goddamnit....that's the AMERICAN way.

Aliantha 06-02-2007 10:55 PM

LOL...gee, look what I missed out on. More abuse from the queen of one trick ponies herself.

Get over yourself bitch.
