Good For Asda.

I've started to call, you can get someone towed and/or ticketed just by letting the cops know.

monster 09-28-2007 07:58 PM

Not in the UK, you can't. It's private land, the cops won't intervene.

That is a shame.
It makes sense now that they let the property fine the morons who park illegally.
Here the city/county makes good money off of these idiots, especially if they are inside long enough to be towed.

You get fined, just by privately employed car park staff.

I still can't figure out what chaffs people's ass about disabled parking, especially those with lifts and ramps like myself who cannot park in a regular spot.
I got a nasty comment at the Matthew's concert.
It really confuses me.
If I was a different person I would have lowered myself to his level and told him it could be arranged that he could get the same kind of spot very easily.

mostly people seem to get pissed off because they can't find a spot near to the store and yet there is a disabled spot empty. No, not rational, but there you go....

I think it's just childish selfishness. The same you see when someone wants to leave their car in a bus lane in order to go into a newsagent and get a packet of cigarettes. They don't understand that it impacts the 60 (?) people on the bus, just that they were only in there for a second...
