KOJO [caller to his show]: How AIDS got there -- do you know how the AIDS got there? You know how it got there?

SAVAGE [mocking Kojo's accent]: Yeah, I know how it got there, I know how it got there. It got there because it was spread from eating green monkey meat, my friend. If you study the science -- but I don't think you have the capacity to understand science, my dear friend Kojo.

KOJO: You have a big old mouth. You don't listen to nobody. You are criticizing African people, you are criticizing --

SAVAGE: Why don't you just shut up for a minute. You're telling me that you know more about my country than I do but I know nothing about your country. Who has the big mouth here, Kojo?

KOJO: You criticize the president, the candidate, everybody. Why don't you be a president of the United States, you stupid man --

SAVAGE: See, we don't live in Africa where people settle arguments with machetes. We live in a country where we settle it with arguments. Something you apparently don't know anything about.

[silence]

What's the matter, cat got your tongue, my friend, Kojo?

[sound of dial tone]

See, there you go. Couldn't use the machete so his mind went blank. There, that's what we got. There's multiculturalism for you. There's immigration for you. There's the new America for you. Bring them in by the millions. Bring in 10 million more from Africa. Bring them in with AIDS. Show how multicultural you are. They can't reason, but bring them in with a machete in their head. Go ahead. Bring them in with machetes in their mind.

As much as I don't care about Savage, he is, sadly, mostly right on some particular points, except for the original question asked.

Yea, I thought it was actually funny. If you are going to call someone up and argue with them on their radio show, at least have the mental capacity to hold your own. Savage was just baiting the guy, the dude lost the argument the moment he picked up the phone to call in. If you don't agree with him he is just going to savage you and eventually cut your ability off to respond, as he goes on responding and commenting about your comments. It is a game for him and he loves it.

I'm glad I don't listen to radio shows starring blowhards, I don't care what city it's in.

You can only get him at 7 pm on AM in our area. And even then it is a really shitty reception.

Michael Savage Extends Contract And Takes CAIR To Court

This came out the other day:

SAN FRANCISCO -- February 13, : Michael Savage, host of Talk Radio Network's The Savage Nation, has extended his contract with TRN. The show reports more than 300 affiliates nationwide.

The Savage nation has been growing every year by leaps and bounds and now Michael Savage and The Savage Nation is starting to become a house hold name like Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh and Howard Stern.

Senior program director Seth Greenberg said “You cannot argue with the facts, his ratings are killing across the board, and during drive time in New York and California he is number one and they only get better with every quarter. “

Most people feel that Savage has the guts to say what everyone else is thinking. That could be the reason Savage has an army behind him that is waging a successful battle against CAIR (Council on American-Islamic Relations.)

The federal government recently named CAIR, based in Washington, D.C., as an unindicted co-conspirator in an alleged scheme to funnel $12 million to the terrorist group Hamas. Savage is also suing them for attacks against Savage and is advertisers which Savage claims cost him more than 1 million dollars.

Savage says he will fight CAIR to the end and is getting overwhelming support from his listeners and his employers.
"We are proud to extend Michael Savage's contract," said TRN CEO Mark Masters. "Michael is always challenging the audience and himself. I think this is the main reason he continues to be a ratings juggernaut, coast to coast."
