I am in my 30s. I feel love and am in love with my significant other.
Which one do I pick when I turn 40 and still feel the same way? ;-)

That's why I haven't voted.

I'm in my 30's and have only been married for a year and a half.

I want to say that we aren't in love anymore, but we make everyone else sick to their stomachs when they have to watch us do anything together. So yea, on the behalf of all my friends who I have absolutely disgusted with our closeness, I will have to answer definitely in love. The 30's edition.
:D

Why I don't "date." Am I cutting myself short? I don't thinks so but I wonder at times.

The whole conventional concept of "dating" scares the bejeezus out of me. The idea of setting up a time, seeing how it goes...though I dated my ass off ;) in younger days, I just don't see me doing it now. Like shopping for a guy. I always think something will grow out of a friendship, or will just happen. It's not a healthy attitude, and will probably keep me alone for some time...but still I tell guys "I'm sorry, I don't date."

Luckily, I'm quite comfortable with my own company. Sad, eh?

I think it is my attitude to a T and comfortable with my own company thus this flawed poll.

well sorry. What say you then? What would your option have been?

Well I havn't ever had a properly aged bottle of wine yet so maybe I should have chosen a better metaphor :)

Im making this a double response to glatt too.

@ mac tire. same as what? It's good wine or goat cheese on crackers?
I mean some people like goat cheese. It's steady and never changes. ;)

(edit)
Or is it unrequited and or untried. I have at least one of those. :)

Same as now only 40s instead of 30s "I feel love and am in love with my significant other." :)

mmmmmm...goat cheese and crackers. I'll have to check with Case and see if we can get some of that soon. I mean, can we both be in love with our significant other and like goat cheese and crackers, is it allowed? :D

Cicero 04-08-2008 05:11 PM

I picked goat cheese and crackers. I was assuming that it was a good thing. We eat well.
:)
Do you know what we really like? We like goat-cheese salmon patties. Those are so awesome! So yea, mac. Sky may not approve, but I do. Carry on with your in-love selves, and have as much of the goat-cheese goodness you want.

kerosene 04-08-2008 05:41 PM

Goat cheese...not blue cheese. As long as we can make that distinction, I think it will be okay.

warch 04-08-2008 05:56 PM

In the 40s its sort of a lovely platter of sausages, assorted cheeses and marinated vegetables with good olive oil and crusty bread.

Sundae 04-09-2008 05:01 AM

:yum:
forget the love, I just want that platter!

warch 04-09-2008 10:57 AM

Sort of like the Seinfeld where George finds that pastrami is the most sensual of the smoke cured meats...now if he just adds tv....

shina 04-09-2008 11:44 AM

Just starting out and being cautious. Sure having fun though.

It isn't so thoughtful or scientific so it failed in execution so I am thankful for the patience and willingness to contribute.

About me:

I have great loving friendships. The friends I have are loving, supportive and gracious. I know there are people here like that as well.

I am glad for the people that are still in love. My love is a warm mellow sunset. It's deep and enduring and I am very fortunate to meet easy going people. I guess that's what I am. I don't DEMAND love or it's trappings. Just mutial respect ,courtesy and humor. I have that so I think that's good enough.
