 at Clod! Did you make that?

Cloud - TRIscuits? is that like a triple layer biscuit or something? sounds decadently delicious.

Kingswood - just don't you too much chocolate. Gaseous nausea and indigestion can really spoil the mood. So I heard.

Damn there's some yummy nom here guys. This thread is giving me the munchies.

/runs to kitchen/

I had garlic naan last night. Nom, nom, nom indeed.

My favourite's Peshwari naan

Sundae 08-05-2008 05:17 AM

Oh no - waste of a good naan!
Then again, I'm not really a cocnut fan, so that explains it.
I'd always rather have an Indian curry than a Thai one for example...

A Triscuit is not a biscuit at all...it's a snack cracker made of whole wheat. It's crunchy and very stiff and takes a dip or spread well, but has little flavor of it's own.

@ Sundae: They don't always have coconut (though traditionally i think they do), even when they do, it's the almonds that seem to dominate for me.

Those Triscuits look like bizarre, giant Shreddies.

I like Sociables! With port wine cheese spread!

HungLikeJesus 08-05-2008 09:05 AM

Triscuits also make good road base.

Almonds? Even worse!
I admit I've only really finished off someone else's - it was enough to know it wasn't for me.

ZenGum: No no, I can't claim it as my own, it just came from the intarwebs somewhere...

my own crab dip and Ritz crackers. MMMMmmmmm!

Ruminator 08-14-2008 08:51 PM

It depends upon the mood.

~ My homemade baked beans with four primary flavors:
- a sweetness borne from dark brown sugar & blackstrap molasses
- balanced by a modest amount of apple cider vinegar
- smokey flavor
- top covered with bacon pieces
Did I just drool on my keyboard?! :p
They are so good at a cookout!

~ Cherries Jubilee! dessert, oh I could hurt myself!

~ either of my favorite cookies my wife bakes- Cherry chocolate chip(using a cherry cake mix); or her Oatmeal cookies with pecans and chocolate chips added

~ homemade, extreme chocolate milk & a peanut butter and cherry preserves(Smuckers) sandwich

~ Trail bologna, swiss cheese, Ritz crackers, seedless grapes, and a bottle of Port wine

~ probably Brian's crab dip would go well too. :D

~ etc.......................

UM NUM NUM NUM!!!! I can't get to the kitchen fast enough!

Especially after eating baked beans. (insert onomatopoeic spellings for farting sounds here)
