As footer's legal representaive I have to say he was surprised at that tagline. And honored, but that's another story.
He thinks it came (haha) about during a spate of "gay for you" comments made by other dwellars 1st and he just thought they'd make good taglines. He is now just quoting them directly and making them his sigs.
I, on the other hand would like to suggest as a tagline, but may be too impaired to find the right thread, "We may not be gay, but we certainly are festive."
Alas, not original either, but still appreciated for its turn of phrase.
