I think there is a lot of baby head shaving traditions in China-to protect, or ensure thick hair or something...But I've seen multiple patches..

A painting

Here's a painting with Chinese child similar to the one in the photo. (The hair is a bit further back here, but it's still a little patch. It's pretty hard to find images of this, unfortunately.)

Yeah, I also noticed that the kid's haircut is different from Ronaldo's. It also looks a LOT better! Sheesh. The Chinese kid looks okay, possibly emulable... but Ronaldo's just looks UGLY.
