Hey! We have atheists in America! Just because their leader (Madalyn Murray O'Hair) and some of her family were ruthlessly murdered (under v. bizarre and greedy conditions) doesn't mean they dried up and went away. I hate it when people assume all Americans are Christian. It's like assuming all Michiganers have a weird accent and believe in BigFoot.

You know there is a plethora (oh, yeah, I said plethora!) of religious beliefs right here on this board. A varitable 'cornucopia' of beliefs! A pumpkin patch of weirdness! Just look at us and you can tell!

If by "book" you mean "radio show," then yes.

Well crap, you all just reminded me some dude gave me a copy of Hitchhiker's Guide in college as long as I SWORE I would give him back his favorite book. Now, where did I put that? :blush:

Beats me. After reading the above posts, I sort of have an idea.

A reasonably quick reader could probably get through them in less than 24 hours. And unless you have some sort of sentimental attachment to spending time with your family, I can't think of a better way to spend your last day. Better than lying on the floor with a paper bag on your head. Or lying in the mud in front of a bulldozer, for that matter.
