To take the piss (out of something/one) is to indulge in humorous mockery of it.

I figured with your spelling of "commodian" being like commode, you were setting this one up for me. It was either "take the piss" or "full of shit".
Ahh, well, sometimes they work, sometimes they don't... but if even YOU aren't getting me, I'm worried.

So, I made a joke without knowing it. The "commodian" was just a throwback, my family and I use it on each other "you're a real freakin' commodian, you know that?"

It was an even better joke than I knew. :)
