Others might not like him or how he's putting it, but merc making an important point here ... there are differences in how people are treated in disasters. Think back, everybody, to what New Orleans Katrina people got versus the struggles Busterb had trying to get his house fixed. Buster didn't spend time living in a FEMA trailer, and didn't get one of those FEMA debit cards to use in the strip bar down the road ...

You mean those trailers that FEMA provided knowing that they were contaminated with Formaldehyde, mold and other lovely purveyors of health risks?

I dont know the folks here well, but I dont find the racial innuendos to be very humorous, if that was the intent.

Providing electricity to people isn't as easy as showing up with food and water. It's also not within the scope of the U.S. government to provide electricity. To compare this to Bush's failure during Hurricane Katrina only proves what a douchebag you really are.

Also, the government DID respond. National Guardsmen have been sent to the homes and have gone door to door giving food and blankets to people, and I believe several shelters have been setup for them so once again, you're talking out your ass.
