One of my kids had that superglue stuff put on his head instead of stitches once. It's good stuff.

I didn't realise they could seal up a surgery hole with it though.

Yay for you Shel. Glad you're ok.

Clodfobble 02-23-2009 09:37 PM

My whole c-section was done with superglue. That stuff is extremely effective. Glad to hear you're okay, Shel! But don't throw out those pain pills just yet, your body may suddenly realize in another day or two what just happened...

Thanks all. And don't worry about the pills. If my pain doesn't flare up from the surgery, I'm sure the pain in my ass when I start to do all the work waiting for me at MAW will inspire my need. :-)

Glad you're doing well, Sheldon!

Congrats on the successful surgery Shel! Modernity is kinda cool.

Sheldonrs 02-25-2009 07:58 AM

Thanks guys. :-)

And Foot, I could take care of that for you. muahahaha

What a generous guy you are. :haha:
Glad your hospital trip was quick and easy.

Does being busy mean people are still giving in tough times, or just that there's still much need?

We are actually doing really well. Our holiday season did better than we had expected and the goal my dept. had set to reach by the end of our fiscal year in June was passed already a few weeks ago.

I think it's a combination of more people giving to us instead of buying lots of gifts and people who are worried but want some measure of control so they give to us just to know that they can still do that.

xoxoxoBruce 02-25-2009 08:33 AM

Glad to hear that, I know the need is there. I'm sure uncle Shel brightens up a lot of kid's days. :D

I was spayed laprascopically, no stitches either. Much easier! I'm happy for ya - but secretly - don't you rather miss the sympathy just a bit, and perhaps the time spent recovering-but-really-web surfing-and reading-and-not doing chores? :)

Thanks. I prefer getting laid to getting laid to rest too. ;)

Blimey, this seems to have made you randier than usual! What color are the little pills they gave you?
