I hope with every fiber of my being that the Republican Party will run Sarah Palin as their candidate against President Obama and do does the Democratic Party.

Seems like both Clinton and Bush managed to do it all. I think she'll look like she quit before she'd finished her duty.

Compared to Bush and Clinton, she's got a longer row to ho.... e.

But, uh, wouldn't quitting the gov's office early be considered neglecting it? I mean, her term would have been up December 2010. She could have followed through and still had plenty of time to hit the trail to run for --

Oh, yeah. Logic. Palin. Hmm.

At least I can look forward to her fanbase getting warmed up, don'tcha know!

Methinks so as well.

Not that I actually vote or anything, but I'd much rather have a choice between two strong candidates than a strong candidate and a loser.

By strong candidate I mean someone who is highly qualified and has a hope of winning, rather than simply someone who could win.

Check out the interview: http://www.dailykostv.com/w/001896/

She sounds like she is on some kind of drug. She also says that she is going to "affect change". I guess that means that those who are effecting change will be affected by her actions. Or something.

My favorite airhead.

Her popularity in Alaska went from 90% to 60% before the election and 55% now. Maybe she thinks she can get out now and preserve her reputation for the national stage.

Scuttlebutt is that the feds are investigating her ties with a construction company that built the sports center in Wasilla. Supposedly they 'gifted' her the supplies needed to make her home.

So she's 'passing the ball for victory'. Her contention is that nothing can get done during 'lame duck' status so why bother? By that logic all presidents, senators, and governors should end their final terms early.

The only sense in this is political. It could be she is dumping a 'dead moose' on her Lt. Gov, it could be she is giving him a chance to run as an incumbent, or both.

What's funny is to hear her give all these examples of soldiers and other's who refuse to quit....while she quits.

She quotes McArthur "We are not retreating, we are advancing in another direction."

Half the people think she's quitting politics, and the other half think that she's running for the White House.

Rumor has it that she faces indictment next week. Time will tell I suppose.

I wish she could go away quietly. Attention Ho.

My thoughts exactly. I can't believe anyone would consider her presidential material now (although, I still can't believe she was considered so by some, when she was on the ticket with McAddledBrain).

I strongly suspect there's much more to this than currently meets the eye. Something along the lines of what Pico and Me mentioned... she's got her ass in a crack somehow, and ditching her job is her lame solution.

She's toast. http://www.matafyde.com/content/Port...FaceWaving.jpg Buh-bye.

xoxoxoBruce 07-04-2009 02:08 PM

That's easy for you to say, you can't see Russia from your house. :haha:

sugarpop 07-04-2009 10:28 PM

bwahahahaha. :D

Good riddance. Oh wait. You mean she isn't actually leaving the public eye? Damn!
