It was correct, and I think his comment about invidiousness wasn't exclusively for TW. He wasn't looking in a mirror.

Were he to eliminate the diatribes, he'd do better. Not that that will happen; unlike me, he is driven by his resentments, and if he's ever processed an emotion in an adult way, I've missed it. No matter how... eccentric, his resentments drive him.
