yes, but not in the old fashioned sense: says here they need a minimum of 15 days

But couples do still go there to marry without teling anyone.

You can call me a misanthrope but already I'm sick of William and Kate.

Being royal is an accident of birth - like a cleft palate or club foot.

DanaC 11-17-2010 08:31 AM

Your sick of them? I currently can't turn on my radio or tv without them being there.

It must be hellish.

So hellish, I apparently forgot how to use the English language :P

S'okay. It happens to all of us at sum time or another. I can only imagine your level of distraction with all the Willie&Kate hawking going on over there.

Willi&Kate+Eight! Would make a great reality show...

Let the royal lovers have their fun. It's no worse than reading about the Redskins every Monday morning on the front page of the Washington Post. At least these weddings are only every 30 years.

I didn't realize that it was staged. The outpouring wherever she went/did/said seemed genuine. And during/after the divorce, the vast majority seemed to be on her side. That comment fascinates me. Do tell ...

I disagree. The Redskins are (unless they win BIG) relegated to the sports section and the sports part of the news (last three minutes of the show) and you can avoid it if you want -these two are, literally, everywhere. People fall in love and get married every damn day. I'm sick of the fetish-izing and fawning bullshite of it all.

I prefaced my comments with the 'misanthrope' label, didn't i? ;)

glatt was speaking of the Washington Post's front page.

Misanthrope is an alibi, excuse, cover, for I'm so jealous I could spit. :haha:

I was referring to the press and so on calling her 'The People's Princess' and the 'Princess of Hearts' before she died. When she did that interview on TV about her marriage to Charles and the separation that followed.

A lot of the stuff that went on after her death also seemed very staged. Again, I am referring more to how it was portrayed in the press and how a lot of that national 'grief' was facillitated and encouraged by the press.

Classic Frankie.

Mock the Week died when he left.

I'm confused about the upcoming TV season.

"Will and Kate plus 8K" ?
